On the game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Atlanta Hawks. As they fought for a loose ball midway through the second quarter of a March 20 matchup, forward Solomon Hill of the Atlanta Hawks unintentionally fell onto LeBron’s ankles. While James returned to the game for a short period after his injury and even made a three-pointer, he eventually left and did not show up.

James’ ankles were X-rayed and found to be normal, but an MRI revealed a high-ankle sprain. The team revealed that James would be out indefinitely and would not return temporarily on the game until further notice.

The Los Angeles Lakers were based upon two real star players, LeBron James and Anthony Davis. That year, they led the Los Angeles Laker team to an NBA championship, the franchise’s first since the Kobe Bryant era.

While sacrificing 30 games due to calf and heel problems, Anthony Davis returned to the team on Thursday. In his 17 minutes of playing, he only had 4 points on his 2-out of-10 output along with four boards. The squad lost without AD, went 14-16 in his loss, and his minutes are gradually being increased.

In the Western Conference, the Utah Jazz are ranked first, preceded by the Phoenix Suns and Los Angeles Clippers. The Lakers are trailed by the Portland Trail Blazers and Dallas Mavericks. Since losing James and Davis to injury, the team has fallen a bit off the standings. The Lakers are recently ranked fifth in the Western Conference, after being ranked second and third in the previous.
