- 1 lb (450 g) ground beef
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 packet taco seasoning (or homemade: 1 tsp chili powder, ½ tsp cumin, ½ tsp paprika, ½ tsp oregano, salt & pepper)
- ½ cup tomato sauce (or canned diced tomatoes)
- 8 small taco shells (hard or soft tortillas)

- Diced tomatoes
- Shredded cheddar or Mexican cheese blend
- Sour cream or Greek yogurt

Instructions
- Cook the beef
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add chopped onion and cook until soft (2–3 minutes).
- Add garlic and cook 30 seconds.
